Sharing: Some Product Features of the Thermal Shock Test Chamber

Source:LINPIN Time:2025-03-21 Category:Industry News

Although the thermal shock test chamber also simulates different natural temperatures to test the weather resistance of samples, it differs from other temperature and humidity series testing equipment. What are the unique features of this product? Below, we introduce some of its key characteristics.

Fast Temperature Recovery and Transition Times:
The transition time between the low-temperature and high-temperature zones of the thermal shock test chamber is no more than 15 seconds, and the temperature recovery time is no more than 5 minutes.

Independent Control of High and Low-Temperature Zones:
Whether it is a two-chamber or three-chamber design, the high-temperature and low-temperature zones are independently controlled. Each zone has its own door, and there is a wiring hole on the top of the chamber, allowing customers to introduce sensor wires, test cables, etc., into the chamber.

Safety Protection Mechanism:
To prevent abnormal situations caused by opening the chamber door during testing, a safety protection device is installed. The chamber door, circulating fan, and basket transmission are interlocked. If the door is opened, the power to the circulating fan and basket transmission is automatically cut off, ensuring the safety of the operator.

Intelligent Operation:
The main functions of the device are program-controlled. Users can operate it independently according to the instructions and modify the values of the program segments. By setting relevant time parameters on the screen and switching between cooling, heating, and basket transmission, the device will automatically conduct the test according to the set values. This intelligent design saves significant manpower.

Dual-Stage Cascade Air-Cooled Refrigeration System:
The test equipment uses a dual-stage cascade air-cooled refrigeration system. The refrigeration system consists of Tecumseh fully enclosed compressors, and the cycle includes two isothermal and two adiabatic processes.

Excellent Insulation Performance:
The product has excellent insulation performance.

The thermal shock test chamber has many unique features in terms of structure and craftsmanship. Today, we have mainly introduced the above six points. Previously, we introduced some common problems with high and low temperature test chambers. Today, we will discuss the issue of slow cooling in the test equipment, which may be caused by malfunctions in the refrigeration system.
We’ve previously shared many articles about aging test chambers, covering topics such as pricing, structure, and usage. Today, let’s focus on the raw materials used in manufacturing these devices.
A thermal-shock chamber (TSC) is not an off-the-shelf climatic box. Its only purpose is to generate controlled temperature gradients and rapid transfer rates that reveal thermo-mechanical defects. A poor choice will distort test data, delay R&D, fail certification audits, or even trigger a product recall. This paper translates field experience into an engineering checklist for R&D, Quality and ESS engineers.
The primary purpose of high and low temperature alternating test chambers is to assess the adaptability of products and determine their performance under various environmental conditions
In generic reliability standards such as GB/T 2423, IEC 60068 and MIL-STD-810, “damp heat” is treated as an independent climatic stress. The goal is not merely to verify moisture resistance, but to accelerate and expose failure modes triggered by water adsorption, condensation, “breathing” and electrochemical migration.
