Product application:
Salt spray corrosion test chamber are one of the "three-proof" (humidity, salt spray, and mold) artificial climate environmental testing devices. They simulate the disperse system composed of salt-containing tiny liquid droplets in the atmosphere.
These chambers are widely used to conduct salt spray corrosion tests on electronic, electrical, automotive, motorcycle, hardware tools, and other products, components, metal materials, and coated products. The performance indicators comply with the requirements of GB/T5170.8 "Basic Inspection Methods for Environmental Testing Equipment of Electrical and Electronic Products."
This type of salt spray corrosion test chamber is designed and manufactured according to GB/T2423.17 "Basic Environmental Testing Procedures for Electrical and Electronic Products - Test Ka: Salt Spray Test Method" and implements the national standard GB/T10587 "Technical Conditions for Salt Spray Test Chambers." It can also perform various salt spray tests in accordance with equivalent standards such as IEC, DIN, MIL, and ASTM.
Chamber structure:
The salt spray corrosion test chamber is typically constructed by integral molding and high-temperature welding, ensuring that it is corrosion-resistant, easy to clean, and free from leaks.
It features a tower-style spraying system equipped with a salt solution filtration system, crystal-free nozzles, and allows for uniform salt mist distribution with adjustable deposition rates.
The chamber's lid is made of transparent material, which enables clear visibility of the test items and the spraying conditions inside the box.
A water seal structure is used between the lid and the chamber body to prevent salt mist from escaping.
Control system:
The salt spray corrosion test chamber is equipped with a high-precision PID temperature controller that has an accuracy of ±0.1℃. Optional instruments such as RKC, OMRON, or TEMI880 are available for selection.
The temperature controller has an output printing function, which allows for the independent setting of the printing interval and printing speed (optional feature).
The lid of the salt spray corrosion test chamber is operated by a pneumatic cylinder for easy and effortless opening and closing.
All electrical circuits are fitted with circuit breakers, and all heaters are equipped with both electronic and mechanical overheat protection devices.
Multiple system protections ensure safe and reliable operation of the chamber.
