Sharing: The Refrigeration Function of the High and Low Temperature Test Chamber

Source:LINPIN Time:2025-03-20 Category:Industry News

Refrigeration is one of the common functions of test chamber equipment. How does this function work? It is related to the structure and technology of the equipment. Today, let’s delve into the refrigeration function of the high and low temperature test chamber.

The refrigeration system of the high and low temperature test chamber includes not only components such as the compressor, accumulator, condenser, and dry filter but also the capillary tube, solenoid valve, evaporator, and pressure protection. It adopts mechanical refrigeration and auxiliary liquid nitrogen refrigeration methods, consisting of two components, each of which is a relatively independent refrigeration system. Due to the low temperature requirements of the tests, a cascade refrigeration method is usually employed.

High and Low Temperature Test Chamber

The high and low temperature test chamber has two sets of refrigeration compressors. If the equipment experiences temperature instability, the following methods can be used for troubleshooting. Temperature instability is often caused by insufficient refrigerant. You can check the exhaust pressure and suction pressure values of the compressor. If the pressure values are low and the suction pressure is in a vacuum state, this indicates a refrigerant issue. Additionally, inspect the compressor’s exhaust and suction pipes. If the exhaust pipe temperature is not high and the suction pipe temperature is not low, refrigerant needs to be added. When the equipment’s temperature is unstable, check whether the refrigeration compressor can start during the operation of the test chamber. If it can start and operate normally, it indicates that the main power supply is stable. Then, check for any electrical issues. If the electrical system is functioning properly, the cause should be investigated within the refrigeration system.

The above is an introduction to the refrigeration function of the high and low temperature test chamber and the methods for handling temperature instability. During the operation of the test chamber, other issues may arise. After a malfunction occurs, customers can first troubleshoot the cause themselves and contact the after-sales personnel to report the issue to the technical team. The manufacturer’s after-sales service will promptly provide support to address these problems, avoiding delays in subsequent testing work.
