Master These Skills, and Troubleshooting a Constant Temperature and Humidity Test Chamber Is No Longer a Problem

Source:LINPIN Time:2025-02-17 Category:Industry News

Constant temperature and humidity test chambers may experience malfunctions during use due to improper operation or lack of timely maintenance. These issues can disrupt the normal progress of work. If operators learn some common troubleshooting methods, they can quickly identify and address the causes, reducing the time lost due to malfunctions. So, what are the common malfunctions, and how should they be handled? Let’s discuss this in detail.

If the humidity display on the device is abnormal, you can check whether the humidifier’s piping is clogged with dirt or contains air, causing poor water intake and drainage. In this case, the pipes should be cleaned, and air should be expelled. Additionally, inspect the humidity system to see if there are any abnormalities in the humidifier or solid-state relays. The over-temperature protector for the humidifier is typically set at 130°C; if the temperature is set too low, it can lead to abnormal humidification.

During temperature testing with a constant temperature and humidity test chamber, one common issue is the inability to reach the set temperature. If the low temperature is not achieved, it may be because the working chamber was not dried before the test, or the test items are blocking the air outlet, disrupting the airflow circulation. If these two scenarios are ruled out, the problem may lie in the refrigeration system. For high-temperature heating issues, you can check the regulating dampers and motors of the air circulation system, or whether there are any problems with the control instruments.

If the temperature display is abnormal, check whether the over-temperature protector on the control panel is set to the required 150°C. It could also be due to a malfunction in the circulating motor or the solid-state relay in the temperature section, which needs to be adjusted or repaired.
