The ozone aging test chamber, also known as the ozone aging test machine, is used for rubber products such as vulcanized rubber, thermoplastic rubber, cable insulation sheaths, etc. These products are subjected to static tensile deformation and exposed to a constant temperature environment in a sealed, light-free chamber with a constant ozone concentration. After a predetermined period of testing, the degree of cracking on the surface of the test samples or other changes in performance are used to assess the ozone resistance of the rubber. The test samples are tested in a sealed chamber with constant ozone concentration and temperature for a specified period of time.
Working Principle of Ozone Aging Test Chamber
Ozone in the atmosphere is present in very small amounts but is a major factor in the cracking of rubber. The ozone aging chamber simulates and intensifies the ozone conditions in the atmosphere to study the effects of ozone on rubber. It provides a rapid method for identifying and evaluating the performance of ozone-resistant rubber and the effectiveness of anti-ozone protection measures, thereby extending the service life of rubber products.
Technical Parameters of Ozone Aging Test Chamber
Temperature Range: 0℃~70℃
Humidity Range: ≥65% RH
Ozone Concentration: 0~200PPm, 0~500PPm
Temperature Fluctuation: ±0.5℃
Note: The salt spray test chamber is suitable for testing the ozone resistance and anti-ozone cracking properties of vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic rubber under static or dynamic tensile strain conditions. The test is conducted in an environment with a specified temperature and not directly exposed to light. The ozone resistance of different rubber materials varies significantly with different ozone concentrations and temperatures. The degree of damage to products under tensile strain in ozone tests and use also varies greatly depending on size, type, and strain magnitude.
