How to Add Water into the salt spray corrosion chamber
1. Before adding water to the salt fog test chamber, close all drain valves of the chamber.
2. Add purified water, distilled water or deionized water into the salt fog test chamber. If water adding can make the black floating ball floating up in the chamber, then it is enough (the black floating ball is the floating ball for water level protection).
3. The Proper amount of distilled water should be added to the water sealed sink around the upper part of salt fog test chamber, but should neither be excessively full nor be excessively less. The state in which the water immerses the rubber support pad and the water and the salt fog do not overflow when the chamber cover is closed is optimal.
Water Level Checking
Before the test, it is necessary to add water to Salt Spray Nozzle Test chamber. Closing the drain valve in the back of the chamber before adding water, then add purified water or distilled water into the chamber. The volume of the water added that can float the floating ball at the bottom of the right side of the chamber is the suitable volume. When the machine is started, if low water level appears in the chamber, please check whether the chamber is horizontal. The position of the supplementary chamber should not be too high.
Add enough distilled water or deionized water into the heating sink at the bottom of the working chamber to prevent scales from gathering on the heating pipe in the heating, and causing crack due to poor heat dissipation and final damage.
Adding Water into Salt Water Barrel
Prepare salt solution according to 1:19 proportion, and then pour it into the salt water barrel, the water used in preparing the solution must be purified water, and foreign materials in the solution may influence the test result or block the nozzle.
