LENPURE Climate Chamber Humidity System

There are three most popular types of humidity systems used in test chambers today, a water bath, boiler/steam generator, and atomizing system.

• Atomizer -This system sprays very fine drops of water into the air stream.

The advantages of this system are that it provides good control with live loads, and small humidity deviation once temperature and humidity is stabilized.
The disadvantages of this system are that it requires the longer transition period, more or less atomization will drop on the specimens, not suitable for larger chambers

• Boiler-- a Boiler produces steam into the working room.

Compressors have to work to refrigerate the extra heat released from the mixture of the high-temperature steam mixed with the low-temperature humidity air.
However, due to refrigeration will dehumidification the working room air circulation.
In order to balance the relative humidity, the boiler has to increase steam, and compressor works to cool the extra heat again.
The advantages of this system are that it can attain 98% humidity and has a large capacity to work in any size unit.
The disadvantages of this system are that live load from the boiler can cause problems at lower temperatures when the DUT generates heat.

• Water Bath -  A heater in the water bath, generate humidified air without very high temperature,

only higher than working room temperature will work fine humidified air.
Due to the water will not at very high temperature, not large water surface in the bath,
So there is no extra heat released.

It combined both Boiler and atomizer advantages with easy control of live loads and humidity deviation, no long transition period, very stable.
The disadvantages of this system are that it is very hard to reach low humidity test condition for example 5%R.H, 10% R.H.
