Two places of the salt spray chamber needs to be heated

There are two locations in the salt spray test chamber that need to be heated, and it is clearly stated in the standards. The temperature must be 35 °C for the neutral salt spray test and 47 °C for the saturated air drum.

In the acid salt spray corrosion test, the temperature must reach 50 °C, the saturated air temperature should reach 63 °C, and the saturated barrel temperature should reach 47 °C.

These are mainly because the high pressure air needs to absorb due to pressure and volume changes during expansion. A large amount of heat, if the high-pressure saturated air is preheated to a certain temperature in advance, the temperature inside the box will be directly lowered, and finally the test result will be inaccurate.

1. Check the temperature sensor for damage.

You can use the universal meter to measure the resistance by removing the three wires A+, B+, and B- of the sensor. When a good sensor is being measured, two of them should be on, and the other should be 110Ω, and the other one should be 110Ω. Otherwise, the sensor is damaged and replaced.

2. Check whether the solid state relay is damaged.

If it is not energized, use the multimeter side to enter or exit the section. If it is conductive, it means solid state breakdown, otherwise the solid state relay is intact; in the case of power supply,

By observing whether the conduction indicator on the relay is lit, whether there is 220V voltage to the N line, if not, then check the contactor; if so, then measure whether the output of the solid state relay has 22V voltage to the N line, If it is still not, it means the relay is damaged and needs to be replaced.

3. Check if the heating tube is damaged.

Use a multimeter to measure the resistance at both ends. If there is a certain resistance, it means it is good, otherwise it proves that it has entered the damage, you need to replace the heating tube.
