UV preconditioning test
Purpose: To precondition the module with ultra-violet(UV) radiation before the thermal cycle/ humidity freeze tests to identify those materials and adhesive bonds that are susceptible to UV degradation.
Procedure: 15 kwh·m-2 total UV irradiation in the wavelength range from 280nm to 380nm with 5 kwh·m-2 UV irradiation in the wavelength range from 280nm to 320nm
Thermal cycling test
Purpose:To determine the ability of the module to withstand thermal mismatch, fatigue and other stresses caused by repeated changes of temperature.
Procedure: 50 and 200 cycles from -40 ℃ to+ 85 ℃ with STC peak power current during 200cycles
Humidity freeze test
Purpose:The purpose of this test is to determine the ability of the module to withstand the effects of high temperature and humidity followed by sub-zero temperatures. This is not a thermal shock test.
Procedure: 10 cycles from +85℃,85%RH to -40℃
Damp heat test
Purpose: To determine the ability of the module to withstand the effects of long-term penetration of humidity.
Procedure: 1000h at +85℃,85%RH
